YOUTH PROGRAMS

Carleton Kids Youth Programs operate free, year round. Through a variety of activities promoting education, self-worth, diversity, emotional intelligence, and healthy lifestyles.

YOGA

Gentle therapeutic yoga classes through our credentialed instructor and volunteer, Russ Green.

ADULT BASKETBALL

Various basketball programs including senior mens weekly drop-in, youth basketball programs and camps, and wheelchair basketball.

ADULT VOLLEYBALL

Various volleyball programs including an indoor women's league, weekly recreational co-ed drop-in, competitive tournaments and outdoor co-ed beach volleyball.

PICKLEBALL

In partnership with Port City Pickleball, we offer a competitive Pickleball league throughout the week.

ADULT BADMINTON

Weekly co-ed drop-in badminton for all skill levels.

BIKE SHARE PROGRAM

In partnership with CVRC, the Bike Share Program receives, repairs, and redistributes donated bicycles to give to west side residents.

WOMEN'S BOXING

A female led and female only self defence and fitness class. In six week intervals, Coach Bryanne provides classes that promote fitness, strength, conditioning, empowerment and self-defence tactics.

CARLETON ALL-STAR CHEER

Competitive cheerleading teams for all ages, genders, and abilities. The training develops confidence, strength, cardiovascular health, and coordination.

GED CLASSROOM

In partnership with Community Adult Learning Program we work with adult learners to improve their reading, writing, and math skills to successfully write their GED.

FOOD SECURITY

We offer a variety of supports to individuals experiencing food insecurity. We offer hot meals twice a week and have a community food pantry during our operating hours.

INCOME TAX RETURNS

Through CVITP we assist low-income residents, seniors citizens, and individuals with disabilities file their income taxes free during tax season annually.

NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPER

We offer 1 on 1 support to lower west residents through our Neighbourhood Developer Project. Residents can access emergency support, information, and coaching five days a week.

ZOOMERS FALL PREVENTION

An exercise program with the purpose to reduce the risk of falling for seniors by increasing balance and physical strength (50+ Years of Age).

BAND FRAIL

UNBSJ led exercise and education program for older adults with type 2 diabetes.

ART CLASS

Art therapy for self-reflection for mature adults offered by Kim Cookson. The program brings a variety of crafts and projects weekly along with socialization.
